Comments from WSSYW/Retrospective Overall thread *A couple standout characters and some iconic moments that are still recalled to this day. A couple comments and actions I don't think would slide in today's world. I think everyone knows what the biggest problem of this season is, but for a first-time viewer, they'll probably enjoy. *One of my top five favorites. Includes an all time great player who manages to play a solid game despite certain season twists crippling him. *My favourite season ever. Why? Three letters: J E N *I have this as 8/20 (haven't seen BB1. ) The rigging is the heaviest this season, but viewed from an entertainment lens (like the one I use to watch BB6, ) this season is pretty damn fun to watch.
Ah, youngful ignorance. Nowadays, I appreciate the drama he brought to the season, even though his antics would be blasted into space of controversy in today's society. His win is controversial for sure, but overall it was almost the perfect season for production to follow the magnificance of BB 7. I liked the AP twist, but having Eric's choices locked in was unfortunate. That eviction might was superb though now that I look back on it. All in all, a classic Big Brother season with the fundamentals we unfortunately rarely get these days (twists every week basically). *I'm so happy that BB8 is in the top 10! It's one of my all time favorite seasons. I always thought the twists for this season we're really creative. Forcing people to live in a house with their real life "enemies" is a crazy concept, but I wish they had extended the twist to the entire house, and not just 3 select people. Also, I've always felt that they half-assed this twist just to get Dick and Danielle in the same house together, but whatever, it worked.
