Not bad at all. It's not terribly deep, but a bit more so than one may expect from a low budget sword and sorcery flick - there's themes of nonviolence vs the need to stand up to evil all the way through, which is not really something I've seen before. The actors are (mostly) competent, the costumes and sets look fairly good (as far as I can tell, my copy is on one of those Generic Fantasy DVDs, and they cranked the resolution down a lot to squeeze as many movies as possible on one disc), and there's even a Lush Orchestral Score, which, while it probably wasn't written and recorded specifically for this movie, is used very effectively and helps it a whole lot. There's even a little bit of wire-fu. Also, James Hong and Tony Amendola are in it, which is always nice.
