Se da la curiosidad de que esta misma casa, Prime Video, estrenará próximamente una miniserie de cuatro episodios centrada también en Hernán. Se titulará Cortés y estará protagonizada por Javier Bardem, algo que Jaenada contempla con buenos ojos: "estoy deseando ver su trabajo, tanto como él estará deseando ver el mío. Y lo veo genial, porque vendrá bien todo lo que podamos aprender". Si valoramos la serie con este criterio, sí que es cierto que es valiosa en la medida en la que está bien equilibrada la gesta con el retrato íntimo. Todo esfuerzo por atenuar las sombras de nuestro pasado es bienvenido. Valoración Esta producción exclusive de Prime Video trata de retratar a Hernán Cortés a través de la mirada de ocho de las personas que tuvo más cerca de sí a la hora de planificar la conquista de Tenochtitlan. A pesar de ser irregular, tiene aspectos interesantes que la hacen digna de un visionado. Lo mejor El arrojo de esta coproducción hispano-mexicana para tratar de arrojar algo de luz sobre un proceso desconocido o mal asimilado.

Además ha sido todo un acierto el empeño de Cameron en incluir en esta película el deporte conocido como 'Motorball' (un deporte que aparece en los tomos 3 y 4 del manga). Añade momentos cargados de velocidad y acción. Se agradece que esta no haya sido la típica película de orígenes, algo que podría haber ocurrido perfectamente, sino que las presentaciones se solventan rápido y se pasa a enriquecer y complicar la trama. Toda la historia de ciencia ficción y las partes de acción y aventura nos han convencido, pero nos hemos encontrado con una pega: el romance. Un guiño empalagoso hacia el público adolescente que nos ha sacado de la acción demasiadas veces y de formas verdaderamente ridículas. Es cierto que la película tiene un aire intencionado de distopía adolescente, no quieren desechar la posibilidad de enganchar a las hordas de fans de sagas como Los Juegos del Hambre o Divergente, pero nos ha dado un poco de 'vergüencita' las escenas románticas. Además, Keean Johnson (que interpreta a Hugo) protagoniza, tal vez, la peor actuación de la película (aunque levantará suspiros entre el público adolescente que, al final, es para lo que le han contratado).

Sinopsis: Superman II. The ending was some kind of weird symbolic cop out that went right over my head.
