Comments The episode was a reminder that our protagonist, Yumeko, has a different philosophy to the rest of the gamblers in the school. Most of the students are common gamblers. They do it for the money and the power. Some of them are crazy psychopathic bitches like Midari. We have yet to see the rest of the council but I except some kind of craziness, even from the guy. The president is 100% psychopath; she doesn't even see people as human beings. She is also the mirror opposite of Yumeko. Yumeko also has her problems, but she has a strong sense of justice and a clear head when it comes to gambling. She knows why she does it and it's not something petty as a death wish or money or power. She wants a game to have an equal share of risk for all participants, even if that risk is changed through cheating. In other words, both sides must have a chance in winning and losing. She also gets a thrill shot when she is able to deduct a clever opponent strategy or cheat. Yumeko is also very fond of certain people who earn her trust.
