The Fan (DVD, 1997, Closed Caption) Movie synopsis Quick-tempered Gil Renard (Robert De Niro) has an ex-wife who hates him, a son who fears him, and a job that he's about to lose. The only thing that this down-on-his-luck knife salesman can count on is baseball. He's a loyal, die hard fan, specifically when it comes to his favorite player, Bobby Rayburn (Wesley Snipes). Renard has followed Rayburn's career since day one and is thrilled that his hero has just signed with his hometown team, the San Francisco Giants. When Rayburn hits a slump, his number one fan decides to help him by any means necessary. But when Rayburn discovers the lengths to which his admirer has gone to "help" him and begins to fear Renard, the disturbed fan becomes disillusioned with his hero and focuses his aggression toward Rayburn and his family. De N iro is creepy and menacing as the obsessed Renard, a psychotic stalker who ingratiates himself with his victim. Directed by Tony Scott (TOP GUN, CRIMSON TIDE), the film is based on the novel by Peter Abrahams.

Carrera Dio sus primeros pasos profesionales en el mundo del teatro enrolada en el Club de Teatro Fernando González, del que egresó en 1994 con la obra Madame de Sade, dirigida por Rodrigo Pérez. Se da a conocer al gran público a través de la Televisión por su actuación en varias series chilenas como Romané, Puertas adentro, Los Pincheira y Los Capo, de la Televisión Nacional y en Piel Canela, Papi Ricky y Los 80, del Canal 13. El debut en la pantalla grande se hizo esperar, pero en año 2000 finalmente Stanley Gonczaski le ofreció su primer papel en el filme Monos con navaja. En el 2010 actúa en Ulises y en el 2011 fue la protagonista de la película chilena llamada Violeta se fue a los cielos, dirigida por Andrés Wood Montt, con la que logra el premio a la mejor actriz en el Festival de Lima.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The show is a modern look at the Magnum P. I. franchise. It's well written, engaging and has like characters and good character development. The relationship between Higgins (Perdita Weeks) and Magnum is especially good to watch. You can see them grudgingly falling in love with one another (at least, that's my take on it). It evolves nicely, it has good action and I don't think the reception to the show has been fair. Honestly, it's a bit more of a positive uplift than 99% of the grueling drama and hardcore action crap that is on the air today. If CBS ever allows the damn show to air, in its entirety... and gives it enough episodes to evolve then we might see some real growth. I don't think the show will survive since the network it's on is continuously putting the damn show on hiatus. If you want to lose viewers and destroy the fanbase, might as well keeps screwing with the release windows. CBS All access has had it, and with their whole Viacom merger there is likely a new streaming platform around the corner designed to gouge people since everyone is cutting the cord.
