The team tries to convince Charlie that free will is a good thing, but fail to convince her. Lachesis holds museum tours, even showing everyone the Loom Breaker. Lachesis tells her to stand up, with 'Charlie' telling her no, surprising her, and revealing herself to be Astra. Astra tells Lachesis to smite her in order to keep control, calling her out on her bluff. Way to go Astra!! I love that Ava called Mick Mickey in this episode. Plus, his first priority was Lita. Good on him. The Legends appear, telling people that free will is good, but to no avail. Both Zari's try to shut Gideon down, with new Zari figuring it out by unplugging her. When in doubt, unplug the device. Sara even says the classic "sometimes we screw things up for the better". Love that line, and it sums up what the Legends are doing. Nate and Sara are both suited up in their costumes, which is a big plus to me. Oh yeah, since the Loom got destroyed, Sara got her vision back. I can't believe i forgot that. Lachesis summons Encores to attack the Legends, with the team using some of history's worse inventions, like a pogo stick and shake weights.

It was great to see Teddy Wilson, Gene Krupa and Lionel Hampton recreating their roles. I wonder what they made of Steve Allen's fingering of the clarinet. If you want Benny Goodman's music, get yourself a CD. The film did its best with a mundane plot, Why, incidentally, did those great band-leaders usually wear specs? Glen Miller, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Kay Kyser, etc. I would not dissuade anyone from buying this DVD. The real musical performers were eminently watchable. It was nice to see Sammy Davies Senior playing the part of Fletcher Henderson. Jazz at its best. As I like the music so much I tend to play the DVD a few times and on the previous two copies there was a fault in that the film "jumped", "froze".
